Context

Commissioned by Porsche, Taycan World imagines a future populated by electric cars. A 3,000-kilometre road trip across Europe provided the locations, taking a single Frozen Berry Taycan through cities, mountain roads and modern architectural settings.

Approach

At each location, the same car was photographed in multiple positions. Working with London-based studio INK, these photographs were combined into scenes filled with Taycans. Inspired in part by the film Her, the series creates a quietly futuristic world through colour, repetition and photography rather than CGI.

Recognition

ADC Awards 2022 - Merit, Photography / Products / Commercial / Series. The series was also exhibited at Icons of Porsche 2023 in Dubai, as part of the Art Beach programme.
