A self-initiated project conceived and produced by Tomek Mąkolski, inspired by synaesthesia and the possibility of evoking a physical sensation through an image. An Aston Martin DBX and model Rim Mouane inhabit an imagined Arctic landscape, with cold as the central subject.
The human presence is essential to the idea. Alongside the frost-covered car, the model brings a physical connection to the scene, turning the frozen setting into something the viewer can relate to and almost feel.
The car and model were photographed at Studio Tęcza and combined with an Arctic environment created by Tomek in CGI. Stefan Eisele and Constantin Martens completed the creative retouching, integrating the studio photography and digital landscape. Aston Martin Warsaw provided the car.
